MYSTERY RIDE
28th May 2006
It was with a mixture of cloud and sun as we left Willunga with a total of 25 bikes and 30 people leaving at 10.00 o`clock in the morning. We headed off past Ross`s Roses and wound our way to South Road passing through Myponga across the dam and onto Yankallila for a ˝ hour smoko.
As we progressed with the ride after our break we headed off to Victor Harbour via Parawa and Range Road. We got to Victor Kawasaki Motorcycles just on midday for the sausage sizzle. Alan and his staff put on a great barby which was enjoyed by all present as well as the chance to take a few of his bikes for a test run which Go Down was quite happy to try out the new Vulcan 900 his response was “love the style but prefer the Harley” “Harley has a certain style of its own.”
We finally ended up with Crazee saying a few words of thanks to Alan and his staff after which Alan handed out some door prizes. It was a great day all round with a good ride leader and and a great destination.
A big thanks to all who made the day a great success.
