Well what a start to the rides calendar it was absolutely amazing seeing members from other branches as well as many of our own Fleurieu members at Mt Gambier.
We ended up with around 95 people staying at the caravan park and also quite a few who were bunking in motels around the place. We ended up with 120 at the Saturday night dinner and the Sunday night we tallied up to 160 people present at the RSL I have done an extended article which will be placed on the web shortly with stories and what events took place and even a few pictures of the week end.

In finishing I would have to say that I have never been more impressed than I was this week end with the effort and friendship put in by all the members of our branch who pitched in with jobs needed doing and especially with making everyone feel extremely welcome well done all. We have received a lot of positive feedback from various sources coming from interstate as well as South Australia and I believe that nearly all the hard accommodation has already been booked for next year so looks like it will be happening again so make sure you get in and don’t miss out next year..

Upcoming Ride: 24th Feb Our ride on the week end which is led by gnome will be a mystery ride leaving from Willunga leaving at 10.00am from the Alma where once again the Fleurieu Ulysses Catering Corps will have one of their surprise BBQs. Who knows what they will come up with but you will have to come along to find out. Cost for the BBQ is $5.00 per head and there will be soft drinks available for purchase as well. B.Y.O Alcoholic beverages (Rumour has it that there will be a pub close by) Look forward to seeing you there.

Port Wakefield Ride: Mar 8th-10th 2008 Details for the ride have changed as follows; the ride will now be officially leaving from the BP at Morphett Vale across from the Emu Hotel at 9.00am Saturday morning Looks to be another great weekend so make sure you don`t miss out.
