picarray[0]="President - Robert 'the Hobbit' Hobbits don’t go too far from home except when having adventures and they always enjoy jugs of ale with friends and a good pipe. I don’t know why this applies to me but I was born and bred in Adelaide and have lived mainly in the Southern suburbs. Have ridden bikes most of my life except when raising our son. In our youth my wife Vicki and I were members of ATMA. (Australian Touring Motorcyclists Association). This inspired us to do many rallies in Southern & Eastern Australia. When the child rearing was finished Vicki was keen on getting another bike and so purchased a Yamaha FJ1200. Well it didn’t take me long to get excited and so we were both back on bikes all of a sudden. Our friend Guv joined Ulysses, even before he had a bike, and attended an Adelaide meeting. He came to us and told us we had to join because there was a 'whole room full of people just like us.'  How could you refuse an invitation like that? We both joined and enjoy both the motorcycling and the social with the rest of the historical relics that make up the club.";
picarray[1]="Secretary - Suzanne 'Suzy' Terry.....I had my first bike, a dirt bike, when my children were young but didn't get to ride it a lot and never got my licence.I then joined the Ulysses in 2003 as a pillion passenger on my husband Gary's bike, however after the Tasmanian AGM decided it was time to get my licence and my own bike again, so am now riding a 650 V-Star Custom and loving it.";
picarray[2]="Treasurer - Sharryn Nunan.....I am originally from Broken Hill my husband and I moved to SA in the very late 80's.  After going through 'gotta have an old falcon stage' Pete decided he would like a Harley, he got his Harley in 2004 and we heard about the Ulysses Club so thought we would give it a try, we haven't looked back, we have met and made lots of new friends. In early 2006 I began to think that sitting on the back was a bit boring and bought myself a 250 VStar (having not ridden before this was a real challenge) I got my L's in July 06 and my license in October 06. I have since ridden to Victoria, Mt Gambier Coffs Harbour along with lots of local riding (on the 250).";
picarray[3]="Committee Member & Quartermaster - Ron Stansbury - Here is a pic of me & my outfit. I ride a 1500 nomad Vulcan Kawasaki with a sidecar i have been a member of the Ulysses for 6yrs.";
picarray[4]="Vice President - Phil Close admits he came close to motorcycles by way of scooters. In moving to Victor Harbour, he and Pam had decided to sell the second car and buy a scooter instead. In the shop, when Pam had purchased her scooter, he sat on a motorcycle - and that was that!!!! Memories of motorcycling in to 1970's forced him to buy the bike. That purchase led him into the Ulysses Club and a new way on life. Phil is a retired superannuation consultant who thought he would retire to go fishing....but now he would rather ride than cast a line."
